NTC ElementsNTC sensor elements are the functional basis for all kinds of temperature measurements in all major applications. TDK develops and manufactures high accuracy temperature sensors with excellent media resistance and long-term stability for the automotive, industrial, home and heating appliances markets. TDK offers standard portfolio epoxy resin and glass-encapsulated elements for temperature ranges up to 300°C, complimented by NTC chip thermistors.

Product overview of NTC Elements

TDK NTC thermistor offer high sensitivity, excellent long-term stability and fast response time. They are used in a wide range of applications. The glass-encapsulated elements enable very short response times due to their compact design. The epoxy-encapsulated types are highly resistant against humidity combined with high accuracy over a wide temperature range.

Product Design

The graphics show the sensor structures of TDK NTC thermistors with different materials suitable for a broad spectrum of applications.
The NTCD series features an axial-lead (NTCDS) as the standard form, and is compatible with U-bending (NTCDA), C-bending (NTCDE), and U-bending + epoxy insulation coating (NTCDZ).
