Is the temperature measured with the part of the measurement area (probe tip) fixed in the mouth and your mouth closed?

Please refer to the following for correct measurement.

-Measure your temperature immediately after you wake up while in bed.

*Sitting up, eating, drinking may result in incorrect measurement.

-Be sure to measure the temperature at the root of tongue.

-Place the thermometer in the same spot around the root of tongue to reduce temperature variation.

-If possible, try to measure the temperature at the same time every morning.

-Air temperature may be displayed. In such case, turn off the power and turn on to measure again after cooling down the tip of the thermometer.

-Before measuring the temperature, make sure” Lo” is displayed on the display window.

Are the positive and negative ends in the correct direction?  

Power cannot be turned on if the battery is not in the correct direction.

Make sure the battery is in the correct direction.

Make sure positive and negative ends are in the correct direction before a battery is placed on the battery cover.

Insert the battery in the correct direction.

��Is the battery other than CR2032 used?

The model number of the battery for TDK Digital Clinical Thermometer is�uCR2032�v.

Power cannot be turned on if the battery other than �uCR2032�vis used.

Make sure the model number indicated on the battery or the product package.

Remove the battery and insert again.

(1)Remove the cover and take out the battery.

(2)Wait a few minutes before inserting the battery.

[Attention] About battery replacement

--CAUTION--

-Please note that data stored inside the thermometer may disappear due to battery replacement.

-Make sure the battery is in the correct direction.

-Make sure the battery is first placed on the battery cover before insertion. Direct battery insertion may cause the thermometer to fail.

-After battery replacement, make sure if the same error message is not displayed.

Follow instructions below.

-Hold the operation button until a long “beep” sound.

*You can also try to hold the button by the tip of the nail.

-Make sure if the positive and negative ends are in the correct direction.

-Replace the battery and try again.

Make sure the remaining battery level on LCD.

Replace the battery if the battery level is below 1.

Previous value memory symbol is displayed to indicate the previous temperature measured after power is on.

Otherwise, it will not be displayed.

Regardless of the display of previous value memory symbol, data will not be stored if there is no temperature displayed.

Data may disappear during measurement.

*Data can be erased by holding the operation button for over 10 seconds.

Before measuring again, make sure if previous value memory symbol and temperature is displayed.

Temperature is not on data transfer mode.

Make sure if temperature transfer symbol is displayed 5 seconds after power is on or 1 minute after estimation/actual temperature measurement.

Estimation symbol is not displayed after actual temperature measurement.

Make sure if estimation mark is on after you turn off and then turn back on.

During battery replacement, incorrect battery insertion may cause the thermometer to fail.

Make sure the battery is first placed on the battery cover before insertion.

Do not insert the battery directly into the thermometer body.

Insert the battery after placing it on the battery cover.

Fast read temperature cannot be measured correctly once the probe tip of the thermometer is removed from mouth.

Continue measuring to obtain actual temperature or turn off the power and measure again after 30 seconds.
