Global warming is currently an issue of worldwide concern. CO₂ (carbon dioxide) not only contributes to this problem but also has a significant impact on our health. In the pursuit of improving air quality in various environments, such as homes, offices, and hospitals, there is an escalating demand for sensors capable of detecting CO₂ and various other gases. TDK is developing a CO₂ gas sensor that is significantly smaller in size than previous sensors and consumes less power.
How to choose a multilayer chip varistor that no failure to surge voltage
TDK offers a lineup of multilayer chip varistors to protect equipment from failing due to surge voltages. In the TDK Product Center, you can find individual product data sheets and product catalogs describing various electrical characteristics. However, it does not show how to read or use the data sheet and is difficult to narrow down the parts that are optimal for countermeasures against surge voltage. Therefore, the problems are to spend time on component selection to evaluation.
In order to solve these problems, we will introduce a simulation tool for multilayer chip varistors that can select the optimal components for countermeasures against surge voltage.
Our products from the TDK Group are tailored for sound applications.
There is a multitude of devices surrounding us that handle sound, such as AV equipment for enjoying music, smartphones, computers, and various home appliances that notify us through sound. Recently, voice-operated smart speakers have also emerged. TDK has been closely associated with sound since the era of audio cassette tapes. In the field of electronic devices, we provide a range of products for sound applications, including piezoelectric speakers, MEMS microphones, piezoelectric/electromagnetic buzzers, suppression filters to minimize noise, and notch filters with ESD protection features, thereby offering solutions for new technologies.
