A. Cleaning methods depend on the type of solder used as well as what chemicals the components on the PCB are resistant to. It is best to check with the flux manufacturer for recommended cleaning methods.
The components on the PCB should be properly cooled to prevent thermal cracking. In addition, the PCB should be properly supported during the cleaning and drying processes to prevent flexure.
