When a current in the audio frequency range is applied to an inductor, singing may occur due to the magnetostrictive property of the magnetic material or attraction between components such as core and wires.
The most effective countermeasure is not applying currents in the audio frequency range.
If application of current in the audio frequency range is inevitable, modifying the product shape or switching to another type may change the natural frequency of the entire circuit, including the substrate, and reduce singing.
