In product detail pages or some catalogs, the situations of conformity as well as the status of substance inclusion according to legal or industry requirements and provisions (such as RoHS and REACH) are displayed as environment icons.

RoHS
Here "RoHS" means that the product is in accordance with the requirements of Art. 4 of 2011/65/EU ("RoHS II") as well as the requirements of the provisions of the respective Member States legislation resulting from the transposition of "RoHS II" into national legislation to the extent such provisions reflect the requirements of "RoHS II" except for the cases when exempted applications from Annex III or Annex IV of "RoHS II" are used.REACH SVHC-Free
Here a "REACH SVHC-free" product is defined as that which does not contain any of the substances shown in the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) for Authorisation (https://echa.europa.eu/web/guest/candidate-list-table), under the responsibility of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), in concentrations of exceeding 0.1% wt/wt with respect to the mass of an article.REACH
Here "REACH" means that the product is in compliance with all applicable legal requirements from Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council (REACH regulation).Halogen-Free
Here a "Halogen-free" product is defined according to Standard IEC 61249-2-21 clause 3.1 as that having a concentration not exceeding 900 ppm for Cl (chlorine), Br (bromine) and 1500 ppm for Cl+Br per product weight and as compound of an organic substance (e.g. flame retardants, etc.).Lead-Free
Here a "Lead-free" product is defined as that having the content of the element lead below 0.1% wt/wt per homogeneous material*.
*'homogeneous material' means one material of uniform composition throughout or a material, consisting of a combination of materials, that cannot be disjointed or separated into different materials by mechanical actions such as unscrewing, cutting, crushing, grinding and abrasive processes.
