Are products without power factor correction circuits exempt from harmonics regulations?

A.In accordance with the requirements of IEC61000-3-2, products with an active input power (not output power) of less than 75 W are exempt from harmonics regulations. Therefore, they are required to have a power factor correction circuit (except for some products).
On the other hand, note that products with an active input power of 75 W or more and without a power factor correction circuit may be in violation of the harmonics regulations.
