Selection guides for power circuits and standard circuits/decoupling circuits have been added to the Inductors (Coils) portal
Selection guides for power circuits and standard circuits/decoupling circuits have been added to the Inductors (Coils) portal so that three types of selection guides can be used.

Inductors for Power Circuits New
Find the optimal inductors (coils) for power circuits for you by commercial grade and automotive grade based on the characteristics of the product and external dimensions.
》Selection Guide

Inductors for standard circuits/decoupling circuits New
Find the optimal inductors (coils) for filter circuits, matching circuits, decoupling circuits, etc., for you based on the application, characteristics, and external dimensions.
》Selection Guide

Inductors for high frequency applications
Find the optimal inductors (coils) for high frequency circuits for you based on the application, characteristics, and external dimensions. Qualities such as inductance and rated current range supported in each series can also be checked.

Magnet product portals have been radically redesigned

Magnet product portals have been radically redesigned. The search function and contents have been upgraded to make searching for your magnet easier.

Magnet product portal
We have continued to develop magnet materials for nearly a half century, from the development of ferrite magnet FB1A material in 1959 to the development of cutting-edge Neodymium magnets and the world's first La-Co high-performance ferrite magnet, making a significant contribution to the progress of modern industry.

Ferrite Magnets
These core magnets have been oxide sintered with advanced microstructure control technology using powder metallurgy techniques, are not affected greatly by demagnetizing fields, and have excellent practical properties that outperform metallic magnets (Al-Ni-Co) and can be mass-produced at a high cost-performance ratio.

A new lineup of three types of EMC components

There is a new lineup of three types of EMC components. TDK has developed a wide range of products designed to protect electrical and electronic equipment against EMI (electromagnetic interference).

Common Mode Filters for automobile ultra high-speed differential signal line ACM2012H-T03 Type
- Highly reliable with a temperature range of –40 to +105°C.
- Common mode EMI measure: Possible to suppress waveform common mode EMI without straining the waveform.

PowerHap™ Actuators product portal has been released

The PowerHap™ piezo actuator with haptic feedback and integrated sensor functionality offers unrivalled performance in terms of acceleration, force and response time, and thus offers an unprecedented quality of haptic feedback. PowerHap™ is based on multilayer piezo plates with cost-effective copper inner electrodes.
Unlike conventional electromagnetic solutions PowerHap™ actuators can excite the entire stimulation range between 1 Hz and 1000 Hz. They thus have no significant frequency or amplitude limitations for customized haptic feedback to key human mechanoreceptors.
Applications for the PowerHap™ can be found, for example, in vehicles, smartphones and tablets, household appliances, ATMs and vending machines, game controllers, industrial equipment and medical devices.

Video that shows the operating principles and applications of a TMR angle sensor has been released

A video that shows the operating principles and applications of a TMR angle sensor has been released.
The TMR sensors of TDK are a new type of magnetic sensors utilizing a TMR element, which is a highly-sensitive reproducing element of an HDD head.
The reading elements of HDD heads are based on the magnetoresistance effect, which refers to a change in resistance induced by the application of an external magnetic field. Since the 1980's, they have promoted significant improvement of the recording density of HDDs, while evolving into AMR (anisotropic magnetoresistance effect) elements, GMR (giant magnetoresistance effect) elements, and TMR (tunnel magnetoresistance effect) elements.
