About This Webinar
In too many NFC applications, antenna size and overall thickness, costs, and doing things the same as before tend to be the main design priorities, and less emphasis is put upon optimizing the read/write range for a given set of design requirements and limitations. This presentation will provide background information on magnetic shields used in NFC antenna applications, dig deep into how the magnetic material characteristics affect performance, and show how varying key magnetic shield parameters impact the actual read/write range. All of this is intended to help the NFC antenna designer generate better designs.
