Parallel ATA (PATA) hard disk drives (HDDs) are used in many social infrastructure facilities, industrial equipment, and embedded devices. However, PATA (IDE) HDDs are no longer in production, and the SDE9D series can be connected via a standard IDE 44-pin connector, making it easy to replace HDDs with SSDs.
