Notice: EMC Testing Services Cancellation Policy revision effective

EMC Testing Services Cancellation Policy will be changed as shown in the old/new table below. The new policy will take effect on April 3, 2023. We would like to thank you for your understanding as we strive to further improve the quality and service to ensure that you are satisfied with our services.

Old cancellation policy

In the event of a cancelled reservation, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows:

  • At least 10 days prior to reserved date: Free cancellation
  • 6 to 9 days prior to reserved date: 20% of the actual amount
  • 1 to 5 days prior to reserved date: 50% of the actual amount
  • On the day of reserved date: 100% of the actual amount
New cancellation policy

<New cancellation policy>
1) A cancellation fee will be charged on a confirmed reservation (this application) if the cancellation is made at least 9 days prior to the test date.
(2) In case of cancellation, the cancellation fee will be charged for each room.

(3) If a customer makes multiple reservations for the same date, the policy for tentative reservations, confirmed reservations (this application), cancelled reservations and corresponding cancellation fees shall be as follows:

  • ①Automatic release of a tentative reservation shall be based on the first reserved date. When a tentative reservation is automatically released, all dates reserved by the customer will be automatically released at the same time.
  • ②Please make sure to confirm the reservation (this application) based on the date of the first reserved date.
  • ③If the customer cancels the application after the reservation has been confirmed (this application), all of the customer’s reserved dates will be cancelled at the same time.
  • ④In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed reservation (this application), the cancellation fee will be calculated from the first day of reservation.
    (If the cancellation is made after the test has started, the cancellation fee is calculated from the first date closest to the date of cancellation).
    There is no cancellation fee for all scheduled dates.

 (4) After the receipt of the application form, the schedule can be changed only once. It is not possible to change the schedule again.

<Due Date for Applications to Confirm Reservations>
(1)The due date for reservation confirmation (this application) is as follows:
 (Definition of the number of days: Based on the booking availability calendar on our website)

  • ・If a tentative reservation is made at least 11 days before the test date: Before 17:00, 10 days prior to the test date
  • ・If a tentative reservation is made 2 to 10 days prior to the test date: Before 17:00 of the following day
  • ・If a tentative reservation is made at one day prior to the test date: Tentative reservation will not be accepted. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the test application form.
  • * If the test application form is not received in time before the due date, it will be released automatically.
  •  In that case, no cancellation fee will be charged.

<Payment Procedure>
・The billed amount is calculated on the last day of the month and the invoice will be issued on the 10th day of the following month.
