The MKK rectangular portfolio for AC filtering applications offers a standard solution (MKK AC Modular) as well as a customized solution (MKK HP AC). The standard solution, combined with the latest generation of power modules, shortens the time to market for compact converters for traction, renewable energy, and industrial applications. Moreover, TDK offers sealed cases for applications with aggressive environmental conditions and strict operation requirements, with polyurethane resin as a dry option.
These products feature two basic AC filter capacitor designs: single-phase and three-phase. When AC capacitors are used as filters, they suppress harmonic distortions and reactive power problems, thus improving power quality and reliability.
