TDK's i3 CbM Solution is the world's first edge AI and wireless mesh network solution for predictive maintenance. It contributes to reducing machine downtime and improving productivity. i3 CbM Solution consists of a sensor module, a network controller, and a dedicated software. The sensor module's built-in TDK industrial-grade accelerometer and proprietary edge AI enable vibration data learning, data processing, and status determination of individual machines and equipment. Since only edge AI processed data is transmitted, power consumption is reduced and data confidentiality is ensured. Sensor modules can be easily connected to the monitoring PC within a wide area thanks to a wireless mesh network. This product solves the issues of data aggregation, integration, and processing, as well as physical restrictions such as wiring, which have been challenges in realizing "predictive maintenance". In this way, TDK's i3 CbM Solution helps our customers realize smart factories for manufacturing.
