New MLCC (Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor) Catalog Numbers (6): I really like the sample feature available on tdk.com, but as an OEM, I am confused as to which number I should reference in my BOM.

A. The samples are great tools for product development and testing. As an OEM you have two choices:

  1. Create your own number and TDK will assign an item description that matches your component and your specifications.
  2. Use the catalog number and TDK will use the TDK standard specifications that govern the component.
Either way, your BOM will reflect the number you choose to call your part.
