TDK offers compact, rugged pressure transmitter for industrial applications
TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) presents the compact, rugged B58620F3800B768 AFA pressure transmitter for screw mounting for a wide range of industrial applications. It is designed for a pressure range of 1 bar to 11 bar and temperatures from -20 °C to +125 °C. The dimensions are only 48 x 27 x 24 mm. The new transmitter offers a high measuring accuracy of ±0.5 percent FS (full scale) in the temperature range from +20 °C to +80 °C.

TDK RoboKit1 SmartRobotics™ Platform
The TDK Robokit1 combines sensors, processors, and actuators on a single board, making it an ideal robotics platform for quick prototyping and development. RoboKit1 integrates key product offerings such as 6-axis IMU, industrial IMU modules, capacitive barometric pressure sensor, digital I²S microphone, temp sensor, ultrasonic Time of Flight (ToF) sensors, magnetometer, and motor controller on a single PCB.
It also comes equipped with ARM® Cortex®-M7, multiple interfaces, and is compatible with multiple processor platforms such as Raspberry Pi and ASUS Tinker Board. RoboKit1 is not just another dev board—it is the comprehensive TDK solution showcase!
Product Overview
TDK’s SmartPressure™ products
TDK InvenSense’s barometric pressure sensors use an innovative capacitive MEMS architecture to deliver lower power consumption and lower noise than competing technologies. The SmartPressure products can measure height change below 5 cm, less than the height of a single stair step.
With its industry-leading measurement accuracy and ultra-low power operation for always-on applications, the SmartPressure product family is best suited for smart phones, tablets, wearables, drones, and many other devices to determine accurate location of E911 calls, track changes in elevation for activity monitoring, support indoor or 3D navigation, and other motion- or position-based services. Home appliances such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, water and gas meters can use the pressure sensors to monitor air flow or water level.
The SmartPressure product family includes support for waterproofing to 10 ATM.
A Development Kit is available for each product family for easy evaluation.

    Pressure sensors based on piezoresistive MEMS technology are used in a wide range of applications in automotive and industrial electronics, medical engineering, and environmental technology. TDK's lineup ranges from miniature media-resistant pressure sensor elements with extended temperature ranges to high-precision pressure transmitters with analog or digital output. The InvenSense barometric pressure sensor family is based on MEMS capacitive technology which provides ultra-low noise at the lowest power, enabling industry leading relative accuracy, sensor throughput, and temperature stability. The pressure sensor can measure pressure differences with an accuracy of ±1 Pa, an accuracy enabling altitude measurement differentials as small as 5 cm, less than the height of a single stair step.
