Fast-changing loads of any kind require technologies that act in real time. In dynamic PFC systems, thyristor modules replace slower electromechanical switches. This not only allows them to react within a few milliseconds, but also increases the life expectancy of all components without any mechanical wear of the thyristor module. The ECPOS TSM series of thyristor modules is available for rated voltages from 230 V to 690 V and outputs of 10 to 200 kvar, depending on the type.
